Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install sanity-live-cache-components-setup

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent installs next-sanity version 13 or later, configures next.config.ts and defineLive, places the SanityLive component in the root layout and adapts pages to the three-layer pattern. It also handles draft mode and visual editing.
