Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install seat-occupant-handover

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent separates the seat's stable identity from its occupant's, decides what happens to the old one (retire, advise or shadow) and records the provenance of the change. It does not present a handover as successful when only part of it succeeded.
