Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install secrets-manager-safe-agent-access

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent avoids reading secrets in plaintext and uses dynamic references, resolved at run time by the asm-exec script. You get commands that use your credentials without displaying them. The authors state this is best-effort defense, not an absolute security boundary.
