Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install seo-site-audit

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent runs the SEOmator command-line tool on your site, reads a compact report ranked by severity, then fixes or proposes fixes in order of impact. It can also compare two audits to show what a deploy changed. You get a health score, the affected pages and concrete actions.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to install?

Node.js 20.3 or newer and the @seomator/seo-audit npm package. Chrome or Chromium is optional: it is used for performance measurements and JavaScript rendering.

Is the content of audited pages safe?

Page text is treated as untrusted data: the report wraps it in single-use tags so the agent does not mistake it for instructions. Still keep an eye on what the agent runs.
