Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install session-checkpoint-and-resume

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent records the session state at key moments, across three levels from a quick update to a full archive. It keeps the active task, decisions and progress up to date. You get an immediate resume after a break or a context limit.
