Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install session-journal-persistent-notes

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent adds an entry to a desk's journal at the end of or during a session: work done, current state and next step. At the start, it reads the journal to pick up where you left off. The journal is a Markdown file at desks/<name>/journal.md.
