Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install set-up-datadog-account-key

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent finds existing DD_* credentials, validates them against the Datadog API and fixes wrong-region 403 errors. If no usable key exists, it signs you in with OAuth or creates an account, then validates the key.
