Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install shared-workspace-safety

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

When a folder contains changes from other people or agents, the agent treats them as work in progress: it orients itself from the task, nearby files and their contents, keeps files whose owner it does not know, and reports what it found. You avoid an agent erasing work that was not its own.
