Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install shell-detection-windows

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent detects the running shell, adapts paths and environment variables, and calls a .ps1 script from Bash or the other way round. It sets MSYS_NO_PATHCONV and line endings. You get detection snippets and cross-shell invocation recipes.
