Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install spec-md-authoring-rules

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent applies the SPEC.md rules: always this file name, placement at root or in the app or package, and durable content. It avoids spec/ or docs/plans/ folders and folds ephemeral plans into the specification.
