Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install spend-budget-alert-ladder

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent reads the configured budget, sums the spend of tracked sessions and computes utilisation. It emits the matching alert level: info at 50%, warning at 75%, critical at 90%, hard stop at 100%. Use it after each cost tracking run or before launching a swarm.
