Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install spend-burn-rate-trend

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent reads session records, groups them into time buckets, computes the gap between the latest bucket and the average of earlier ones, and can fail a CI command when that gap passes an adjustable threshold. It tracks production spend, unlike cost-trend, which tracks benchmarks.
