Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install sqlcipher-encrypted-sqlite

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent opens and encrypts a SQLite database with PRAGMA key, picks the key derivation, plans key rotation with PRAGMA rekey and integrates SQLCipher with rusqlite, Android or iOS. You get an encrypted database and the commands to migrate from a plain one.
