Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install start-stop-aspire-apphost-safely

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent starts, stops, restarts and waits for the resources of an Aspire AppHost, using VS Code tools or the CLI and strict guardrails. You get an app that runs without orphaned processes, and guided recovery from lock errors (MSB3491, CS2012).
