Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install static-pmtiles-tile-hosting

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent explains the PMTiles format, sets up the pmtiles protocol in MapLibre, shows how to host the file on S3, R2 or GitHub Pages, and generates tiles with Planetiler, tippecanoe or the pmtiles CLI. You get a static map with no backend.
