Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install storybook-mcp-server-tools

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent installs and configures the Storybook MCP server, then calls its six tools (development, documentation and testing) to discover components, display story previews and run tests. To turn a mockup into a component, the design-to-code skill reuses these tools.
