Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install storytelling-narrative-arc

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent asks about your audience, goal and material, then surfaces the through-line, the turn and the stakes. It proposes a fitting narrative lens (ABT, SCQA, Minto pyramid, three-act and more), orders the beats and cuts what does not serve the story. You pick the level of help: structure only, hook and key moments, or a full draft.

Frequently asked questions

How do I install it?

Copy the folder into your agent skills directory. Keep the four reference files next to SKILL.md.

Does it need other skills?

No. It mentions storytelling-with-data for data visuals but works without it. It uses the agent multiple-choice question tool when one exists.
