Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install stride-threat-model-tm7-files

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent turns your system description, components, data stores, external actors and flows into a diagram and STRIDE threats. It serializes everything in the exact .tm7 format, which uses WCF serialization, so the tool opens the file without error. It avoids common structural mistakes.
