Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install ui-component-scaffolding

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent gathers the name and props, picks a pattern (functional, compound or polymorphic), writes the typed component with its variants, then creates the test file, the Storybook story, the export file and usage documentation. You get a component ready to be completed.
