Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install verify-pr-author-before-merge

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent classifies each PR's author, as a bot, yourself or an external contributor, before any merge, and applies the merge guards. In a bulk merge, it handles each PR number separately. You avoid merging code nobody has read.
