Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install video-sdk-prebuilt-ui

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent checks that the session is a Video SDK session, not a Meeting SDK meeting, then sets up the credentials and server-side signature. It mounts the interface in your application and configures the connection, permissions, chat, captions, recordings and theme. You get a video room that is ready to use.
