Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install vite-config-build-and-dev-server

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent writes the Vite configuration with defineConfig, conditional or async settings and the dev and preview commands. It then handles production builds, library mode or server-side rendering, adds the plugins needed and tunes performance. You get a fast build tool set up for the project.
