Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install vitest-unit-test-setup-2

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent configures vitest.config.ts, writes tests with Vitest assertions and handles async tests, mocks and snapshots. It also sets up DOM tests under jsdom and checks that they can fail when expected. You get a Vite test suite ready for watch mode and coverage.
