Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install website-performance-audit

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent opens your page in Chrome, records a performance trace and analyzes Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP). It then reviews network requests, accessibility and, if you give it the code, the build setup. You get a report with a metrics table, issues ranked by impact and quantified fixes.

Frequently asked questions

What does the agent need to measure?

A Chrome DevTools MCP server. Without it, the agent only reviews code and network, and says which measurements it could not collect.

Can I audit a competitor's site?

Yes. The code analysis phase is skipped and the audit covers what is visible from the browser.
