Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install yjs-collaborative-editing-nextjs

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent applies rules that prevent silent data loss: plain objects in Y.Map, Uint8Array transport, origin-scoped undo, cursors and where the sync loop can run on Vercel. You get collaborative editing verified against Yjs 13.6.31.
