Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install youtube-shorts-picker

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent reads the transcript and looks for 20 to 55 second spans that open on a complete thought, contain a turn and end on a line. It ranks the best candidates with their timecodes, then writes each one. You get a list of Shorts to validate.
