Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install mermaid-diagram-generator

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent picks, among more than twenty Mermaid diagram types, the one that fits your need, writes the code and saves it to a figures folder. It checks the syntax with mermaid-cli when installed and fixes errors over several rounds. You get diagram files ready to embed in a document.
