Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install metal-gpu-rendering

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent uses the Metal, RealityKit, USDKit and ProMotion references to port OpenGL or DirectX code to Metal, convert shaders, fix rendering when windows resize and improve display performance. You get a migration or fix based on those references.
