Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install obsidian-study-notes

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent identifies the reader, chooses between create, improve or audit, then writes notes with step-by-step explanations, worked examples, rendered maths and diagrams. It respects the organisation of an existing vault and ends with an honest report of what was checked.

Do I need Obsidian to use it?

The notes are Markdown files in Obsidian format. Obsidian is used to open them and check the rendering, but the agent does not need it to write.

Can it reorganise my vault?

Not by default: in improve mode it keeps file names, folders and links unless you ask otherwise.
