Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install portfolio-allocation-optimizer

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent loads saved holdings, runs neural-trader's mean-variance optimisation with a return target, then proposes a rebalancing plan. In version 2.8.11 the optimisation returns equal weights, and the skill flags this rather than presenting them as optimised.
