Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install prompt-optimization-held-out

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent defines the prompt, dataset, metric and algorithm, runs an optimization within a set budget, then checks the gain on data held out from training. It saves the best version as a new prompt version, with a link to the optimization run.
