Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install sam-image-segmentation

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent installs SAM, loads the checkpoint suited to your hardware (ViT-H, ViT-L or ViT-B), then segments an object from points or a box, or generates every mask in an image automatically. You get masks you can use for annotation or detection.
