Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install threejs-materials-lights-shadows

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent chooses between PBR and unlit materials, sets up a light rig, enables shadow maps and adds image-based lighting from an HDR environment. It also lists common pitfalls. You get a scene whose surfaces are lit correctly.
