Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install unreal-animation-runtime

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent writes AnimInstance subclasses and their thread-safe update, plays montages with their delegates, and adds anim notifies. It also covers curves, blend spaces, state machines, linked layers and root motion. You get animation code aligned with Unreal Engine 5.8.
