Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install unreal-async-threading

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent picks the right mechanism (UE::Tasks, Async, FAsyncTask, ParallelFor, FRunnable) to run background work, then hands the result back to the game thread. It also covers locks, lock-free queues and timers. You get thread-safe code aligned with Unreal Engine 5.8.
