Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install us-flow-map

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent replaces the list of cities and links (origin, destination, volume). The 12-second video draws the map, reveals the cities, then draws each arc, its width following the volume, with a dot travelling along it. It can be combined with the us-bubble-map block.

Frequently asked questions

How is the arc width chosen?

It is proportional to the volume, between 1.5 and 4 pixels, with 100 as the reference maximum volume.

Can I add a city?

Yes: add its [longitude, latitude] coordinates to the city list, then a link that mentions it.
